Our office is located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, with large windows overlooking Krutch Park and just two blocks from Market Square. The space is located on the second floor of the historic WROL Building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2009, the structure was renovated to LEED standards and has earned its Gold level certification. The office has an open space layout, which fuels collaboration and professional growth between all of staff.
As a prime downtown location, there are fantastic opportunities for public transit and alternate commuting. Roughly half of our employees bike or walk to work (year round). With nearby greenway access and ample bike lanes, some have commented that it is faster than driving.
The close knit nature of our office enables us to enjoy annual holiday socials, host First Friday events, advise University of Tennessee MLA student critics, and participate in countless community design charrettes. Many events we partake in are in conjunction with nonprofit community organizations focused on enhancing local communities with donated planning and design services.
